July 23rd Advanced Class 0800 Range 3, 300 rounds handgun. 30 rounds slugs.
Lots of water for both classes, you wil shoot on the move and on the ground. We do a bunch of non-dominant hand and wounded drills
I'll be at Ft. Huachuca on 07/22/2010 for the Base Class, and I'm looking forward to learning something new and reinforcing what I already know.
Thank you for the opportunity. From what I've been hearing this is a real good class for Mil/LEO guys. It takes you from the old square range to the more active dynamics of combat in a meaningful and well thought out way.
For you military folks that have not been in combat, and even if you have, this is something I would strongly consider based upon the reviews I've read or heard, from guys and gals that have taken the class. I'm trying to get a co-worker's husband to take the class before he deploys again. She tells me this will be his most dangerous deployment, and she's worried.
For those that are not aware of it, this class was designed by Massad Ayoob, Marty Hayes, and Dan Southard to get people "up to speed" before going into combat when all they've had is familiarization and qualification. Qualifying is not training.
