September 25-26, 2010 - Force on Force Gunfighting - Tyler, TX
This is the course that put me on the quest for the PSP material and curriculum. If you have not had the FOF epiphany yet......you simply must experience it first hand. Trusting in what Gabe and I tell you should not be all there is, you should be questioning everyone and everything. A lesson learned while going up against a live resisting adversary is a hundred times more valuable than a lesson learned from listening to somebody else.
There is a very special value to knowing.......without a doubt....... what you need to be working on. Once you have it clear in your mind.....nothing will ever be the same.
Do not follow! Following is for the weak minded. Get out there and experience the FOF epiphany all on your own. It will steel your beliefs and make every training decision that follows a highly educated decision.

FORCE ON FORCE GUNFIGHTING
Ever wonder what you'd do if a psycho with a knife charged at you? Or how you'd really handle a multiple adversary situation? FIND OUT FOR CERTAIN IN OUR INTERACTIVE GUNFIGHTING TRAINING!!
Interactive Gunfighting is the future of defensive/tactical training. This ground-breaking class was developed by Gabe Suarez. This course is Pure CQB Force On Force Gunfighting Skills, and will connect what you do on the range with what you must do on the street to win a fight.
Typical marksmanship-based gun training leaves many questions unanswered. There is a great deal that you still don't know about street combat if all you've done is shoot paper targets of go an the typical "burglar hunt" in a shoot house. Learn what is missing in typical gun training courses and why its so important that you attend this class. It is specifically designed for the private citizen, and focuses on civilian street situations. Learn to defend against a single adversary bent on cutting you with a training knife, as well as against multiple adversaries suddenly drawing guns and firing at you. Learn what it takes to overcome home invaders, takeover robbers, hostage takers and active shooters! In today's environment, everyone has a need to know.
The training is open to ALL civilian students, and is the sort of class you can attend over and over again to maintain your edge!! Fight-focused NOT Gun-focused!

This course is just one week off and there are still some slots open. There will be 5 or 6 Saurez Internatioanl instructors in this course including Russian Spetznaz member Sonny Puzinkas. If you want to get the most out of your FOF experience this is a great opportunity.
Crawl, Walk, Run
If you want to get the most out of FOF you must have a great training partner. The only way to have a great training partner is for you to be a great training partner. This is a two way street! A one way street will not work out for you or your training partner. If you are a "one way" son of a gun, you may walk away from FOF training thinking that you are the king dingleling. The problem is that you let your ego take away from the quality of training that was at your disposal. You missed out on the potential that was present.
A great training partner understand that there is a symbiotic relationship between his training partners and himself. A great training partner also understands that in every new skill set there is a "crawl, walk, run" learning progression. A great training partner knows the appropriate amount of resistance to give to keep within the learning progresssion. He also knows when to step it up incrementally to allow his partner to progress at a speed that is in line with his potential.
If you want a great training partner.......be a great training partner!
"Crawl, Walk, Run!" mentality will facilitate both of you progressing in the most efficient and effective means possible.
Don't be "that guy!"
That guy sucks!
