Ft. Huachuca classes Nov. 9-10 for Military/LEO
Next Ft. Huachuca Class. Base Class November 9th and Advanced Class November 10th. Range 3 0800.
At the top of the Military Page put a note that all can see.
Military Units you do not have to wait until the official classes. Your unit can sponsor SFC Southard, Your unit must have a OIC and RSO of the range. They can shoot. Please contact MEDDAC for a medic, any medic who comes to the course will have a hand gun and 300 rounds given to them. Your Unit OIC should call DPTMS for the guidelines which are very simple. Give SFC Southard a 2 week heads up if possible.
Units that have folks deploying should not hesitate and we will get training to you asap.

wow, looks as if this will be a large class. Two Captains are flying in from White Sands and two pilots from a unit getting ready to deploy with an F-16 unit. I'll sit with the OIC's and DPTMS and try to get a 3 month schedule.

This class was a mix between Military and LEO mambers. There were 4 different military units represented and LEO's from Tucson PD, Pima County Sheriff's Dept, Huachuca City PD, Cochise County Sheriff's Dept, and ICE.
Here is a Group pick after the second day of training.

Working in pairs the front student secures the area the shooting has just occured while the rear student assumes Position Sul and checks in a 360 degree movement.
