This course is almost full! Shot Show Special Event!

    January 22-23, 2011
    POINT SHOOTING PROGRESSIONS
    Las Vegas, Nevada
    Instructor: Roger Phillips

Experience has proven beyond any argument that the traditional shooting range methods are simply not suitable for reactive gunfighting. In this course you will learn the "Fight Continuum" detailing exactly when point shooting is suitable, how far to extend the pistol to the threat, the various visual indexes, the combat draw and other life saving skills that will have you shooting at speeds previously considered impossible. This material is comprised from material from virtually every threat focused shooting system in existence and refined to fit into a simple progression of instruction. This course distills it all into one well thought out and extremely applicable system that dovetails neatly into the regular Close Range Gunfighting matrix, presenting the full aspect of the integration of sighted and unsighted fire at CQB distances.

We must point out that THIS COURSE IS NOT FOR THE NOVICE SHOOTER. If you have not received basic instruction, or have a question about your skill level, please call us first.

POINT SHOOTING PROGRESSIONS/FORCE ON FORCE GUNFIGHTING
    Montgomery, Alabama
    Instructor: Roger Phillips

    POINT SHOOTING PROGRESSIONS
Force on force training has proven beyond any argument that the traditional shooting range methods are simply not suitable for reactive gunfighting. In this course, Suarez International Specialist Instructor Roger Phillips will teach you the "Fight Continuum".

Roger has studied extensively with Suarez International. He has also researched virtually every threat focused shooting system for many years. This course distills it all into one well thought out and extremely applicable system that dovetails neatly into the regular Close Range Gunfighting matrix, presenting the full aspect of the integration of sighted and unsighted fire at CQB distances.

    FORCE-ON-FORCE GUNFIGHTING
Ever wonder what you'd do if a psycho with a knife charged at you? Or how you'd really handle a multiple adversary situation? FIND OUT FOR CERTAIN IN OUR INTERACTIVE GUNFIGHTING TRAINING!! Interactive Gunfighting is the future of defensive/tactical training. This groundbreaking class was developed by Gabe Suarez. This course is Pure CQB Force On Force Gunfighting Skills, and will connect what you do on the range with what you must do on the street to win a fight.

Typical marksmanship-based gun training leaves many questions unanswered. There is a great deal that you still don't know about street combat if all you've done is shoot paper targets of go an the typical "burglar hunt" in a shoot house. Learn what is missing in typical gun training courses and why its so important that you attend this class. It is specifically designed for the private citizen, and focuses on civilian street situations. Learn to defend against a single adversary bent on cutting you with a training knife, as well as against multiple adversaries suddenly drawing guns and firing at you. Learn what it takes to overcome home invaders, takeover robbers, hostage takers and active shooters! In today's environment, everyone has a need to know.

The training is open to ALL civilian students, and is the sort of class you can attend over and over again to maintain your edge!! Fight-focused NOT Gun-focused !!

HRO - CQB: FIGHTING IN STRUCTURES
    Las Vegas, Nevada
    Instructor: Roger Phillips

CQB - FIGHTING IN STRUCTURES is a course that focuses on the tactics a single shooter, or a small team of two shooters, would use to operate inside of a building. Students attending this course will learn time-proven and results-based strategies for negotiating through any possible architectural obstacle found in a building using simple tactical logic, and to handle any high risk situation they might face from setting up a hasty ambush for home invaders, to searching/clearing operations, to direct action attacks against active shooters or home invaders. Moreover, all of the material is easy to learn and requires minimal sustainment as it draws upon existing skill sets learned in other Suarez International training courses. As well, facility allowing, students will operate in varying light levels adding the tactical use of artificial lighting to their skill sets. This course is not about leaving a mountain of spent brass on the range, it is about learning to think tactically and solve problems like an operator. Open to all private citizens.

    Some Of The Topics Covered:

    •Tactical Concepts and Analysis
•Identification of threats and danger areas
    •Negotiating common architectural obstacles

TRAUMA MEDICINE FOR THE CCW OPERATOR
    Las Vegas, Nevada
Instructor: Dr. John Meade / Roger Phillips

**16 Hours of Trauma CEU's for EMT's and Paramedics

September 17-18, 2011 - Trauma Medicine for the CCW Operator - Las Vegas, NV

This revolutionary class is directed toward the "Average Joe" who may have never even taken a first aid class and certainly doesn't consider himself to be a medically trained special operator. Instead, he is someone who realizes that, just as with his shooting skills, he needs to have skill to help save someone's life, perhaps his own, in the aftermath of shooting or other traumatic events. We call that man the "CCW Operator". He doesn't have a trained medic nearby. He must show the same self-reliance that got him through the initial incident.

This will be a very thorough introduction to how to evaluate and treat gunshot wounds, stab wounds and other traumatic injuries. We will do a great deal of technical work to ingrain the correct skills and then work them extensively via practical training, including force on force exercises and live fire. There has never before been training and information like this offered to the general public.

    SOME TOPICS:
•Massive bleeding. What are the options? We will look at everything from direct pressure, to tourniquets, to blood clotting agents. Do you know how to use a tourniquest? How about putting one on yourself, one handed?
•Do you know how to open a person's airway, in various positions?
•How to splint broken limbs, using real equipment and improvised materials.
•How do you move a person to safety, if he can't walk?
•Can you do all this, while maintaining tactical awareness, appropriate movement and shooting back?

This is one of the hottest classes available to civilian operators!

    DURATION: 2 days
    TIME: 8:00AM to 5:00PM
PREREQUISITES: Basic safe gun handling skills
    AMMUNITION: Approximately 200 rounds (minimum)

REQUIREMENTS: Modern defensive pistol, holster specifically made for that pistol and designed to be worn on the belt at the "strong side inside or outside the waistband" or "appendix inside the waistband", 3 magazines and one magazine pouch, a belt of the same width as the belt loops for the holster and magazine pouches, range safety gear (eye and ear protection). Bring an airsoft pistol with the necessary gear (pellets, facemask etc) all of which are available at One Source Tactical

2011 is winding down but we still have a few opportunities on the horizon. If your location cuts down on your training during the winter months, come out to Vegas for training in mild winter weather. We will be training all year around. Remember, even if you have snow on the ground there are places to train where that is not an issue.
