Finally signed up for NRA instructor certification
I have been a CCW loving pastor and gun nut for several years; in fact, my AZ CCW needs to be renewed this year! So that means I have been carrying every day for the past 5 years now.
To me that meant that it is time to take the next step and get my NRA instructor certification. I am taking BIT, Personal Protection in the Home, Basic Pistol, and Home Safety. Those are the beginning, and will allow me to certify people for CCW here in AZ under the new laws enacted last year. I also hope to get my Basic Rifle and Range Safety Officer certifications done this year!
Train, train, train...that's what I gotta do this year!

Glad to hear that. I have also been thinking about becoming an NRA instructor. However, the problem is that I don't have private land to do the shooting part of the instructions. None of the clubs in the area allows members to use their range as part of this either. Maybe I will just have to teach it for free...

I bet even then it was a right to be armed and they didn't even need their second amendment like we do here in America today.

:)
Here we can use the wide open desert if we need to in order to teach classes, but if you have NRA certification I am pretty sure that here we can use our local public range for classes.

That is awesome. Do you currently lead an active congregation? What a great way to feed HIS sheep!

I don't think I'd want to be a firearms instructor. Too many people with loaded guns.
