I have one in NE Texas (Cass County) this Sunday. Probably a bit of a drive for you. Don't know any of the folks that teach over in the DFW area.
You might check texaschlforum.com for others.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

Probably too far for you, but DFW gun range in Dallas is a great place for your renewal class. My last instructor was a guy by the name of Eric Rea. He is fairly entertaining and very informative.

Sheriff Dave Medlin in Vega teaches a good class, but that might be too far north (and west) for you.

I took my training and classes at the Haltom City Gun range.
The range is there off of Hwy 121 near Haltom Rd.
Our instructor is an instructor for the Fort Worth Training Dept.
I'll find her info if you're interested.
She a very qualified instructor.
My Daughter took the classes with my over the course of a weekend.
Let me know if you're interested in her info and I'll look for it.
