Lt Col Dave Grossman is scheduled, courtesy of the local Fraternal Order of the Police, to come to the Florence/Darlington SC area on June 28 &29 and present his "Bullit Proof Mind" lecture/seminar. It is approx 8 hours in length and will be presented both days. I'm signed up for the 28th.
Has anyone heard the seminar before?
Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

I have not heard the seminar, but he came to Fort Drum and spoke to us for an hour or so prior to my trip to Afghanistan in 03-04. His brief was primarily based off of his work, etc writing "On Killing". I've also read his book "On Combat". I'd say he's definitely worth checking out if you are in that area.

I went to one in 2004? Good stuff, usually LEO only.
