what skills have you been tuned into and how competent are you now? how is your SA?
is it there for you now, running in the background -taking up virtually no space till it triggers
for a heads up?
mindset, skillset, toolset--how are you with these 3 concepts? given them some thought; are they in balance? which one needs attention?
try your local club for when IDPA or Pins & Plates shoots. try them out; you will see some good shooters and talky with then. perhaps they can guide you to a local instructor.
good luck. often just watching the shooters can be rather enlightning. and than when you join in, much more may becom even more so obvious. go and enjoy.

Lack of preparation on your part does not necessarily constitute an emergency on mine
I've attended and taught at Front Sight. If you're looking at a trip to Vegas anyway, you should look into it. I agree 100% with the other poster that you shouldn't pay full price for a course. They have weekday courses now as well as weekend ones. I'd look at the 4 day defensive handgun.
