Where can I enroll in a pistol course?

I always hear people talk about their "instructor" or their "CCW course" or their "defensive shooting course," but I never know how or where they find and enroll in these courses. Does anyone know of nay good sites to point me in the right direction of maybe finding a legit pistol course?

    Thanks

Gun training | Firearms Training But do not pay full price for the class you can get a certificate off ebay or PM me and I can sell you one.

I would think there are plenty of classes much closer to you than Front Sight so be sure to check around locally.

What type of course are you looking for?

You can go to the NRA website and look at what they have to offer, do a search within X miles of where you are and go from there.

You can look in your local phone book for instructors, if interested in a CHL, most states have lists of instructors by zip code.

There are lots of places to get started depending on what you're looking to learn, just have to take a bit of time and research a bit.
Just remember that shot placement is much more important with what you carry than how big a bang you get with each trigger pull.

What state are you in? Any local firearm/concealed carry forums? I know the KS concealed carry sight is always posting various classes coming up.

You can also check with your local range. Most of them offer a CCW class or something similar.

I will 2nd azchevy choice post #4. In deciding what class to take you need to know what you are looking for, practice with gun handling or gun training. I think there is a difference.

Sometimes in life you have to stand your ground. It's a hard lesson to learn and even most adults don't get it, but in the end only I can be responsible for my life. If faced with any type of adversity, only I can overcome it. Waiting for someone else to take responsibility is a long fruitless wait.

These are great, as is the NRA website. Check reviews on any you are considering.

We could probably give a more defined answer on where to look if your location said something other than "Southeast"
