    Handgun retention training?

I'm looking for a handgun retention class. Preferably in Orlando or Tampa, but I could travel out of state if it's a one day class on a Sunday. Anyone have suggestions?

I've taken several courses here and the FL state coordinator for IDPA is one of the instructors.

    Thanks for the mention, D.R.

Fletch Fuller here. The ISR Matrix Weapon Retention program has been under constant revision and tactical evolution since the early days. I can say without hesitation that it is "unique" as well as highly functional in the close quarter gun engagement scenario.

Hi, sorry I did not respond before. Thanks for the suggestions, however I can't make heads or tails out of the ISR Matrix website. Could someone point me to the page for their handgun retention class?

ISR Matrix is an excellent suggestion. I've wanted to take one of their classes too but it is hard to arrange/schedule.

SouthNarc/Shivworks would probably be another good source.

I second Mas Ayoob, especially in the Fla. area.
