camelback!
Electronic ear protection
Rabbits foot... you LUCKY *******
Without knowing what the drills are for your specific class, hard-shell knee pads might be good.
Tactical flashlight along the lines of a Surefire or Streamlight, with extra batteries
UpLula mag loader so you don't lose time stuffing mags in between relays
Mag pouch(es) so you carry at least 2 spares on your belt
Dump pouch? Maxpedition Rollypoly is great (skip the mini size).
Sturdy gun belt - can't go wrong with a Wilderness Instructor's belt
Compact notepad (shirt pocket sized) and pen
At least 5 mags (mark 'em with your initials or ID)
Good eyepro with clear as well as shaded lenses
Electronic earpro (e.g., MS Sordin) is an advantage
5.11 trou or similar with lots o' pockets (double-thickness seat is nice, too).
Small "owie" kit with band-aids and adhesive tape
Advil, because you'll use muscles you never even knew you had
Paulden in March is still arid, and you need to pay attention to hydration (speaking from experience as a New Englandah relocated to AZ). If you're not peeing clear and not peeing every couple of hours, you're not drinking enough. A Camelback is an excellent solution; I've used an earlier version of the Camelback MULE for carbine and pistol courses and it doesn't interfere with gear, plus it has small storage for stuff that's inconvenient to stick in your pockets.
Weather-wise, expect dry (but always a chance or rain at 4500 ft) and daytime highs in the mid-60s with overnight lows around freezing. Temps and sweat notwithstanding, keep your neck, arms and legs covered.
That pretty much covers it...
