    I use this method. I used to use down along the slide, but when I got sloppy, I would be across the trigger guard. Even with my G21, if I squeeze my index finger while across the trigger guard, I only squeeze the front end of the guard, but it is not good form. When I went to TDI, they drilled the same method Paul is talking about here into me and now it is natural when I pick up a weapon for my finger to go high above the trigger guard.
