We are blessed with 24 acres. We have two ponds that are both uphill. The back pond has the best natural backstop that is perfect for us. It is a work inrogress but we love it and we don't need to leave to shoot. Bang!

You can get a lot of drawing practice at home and simulate reloads without endangering anyone. Make sure your gun is unloaded and check it twice.
And dry firing is the key element to good shooting. :yup:
Right now just an indoor range but looking for a local outdoor range club to join.
backyard home range. i also belong to the local gun club.
Just got back from the indoor range (Old Range Under New Owner and New Name). First time for me under new name. Very impressed how things are run and the guys are friendly and keep it moving smooth. (I hope it stays this way)
I went to this range due to it is the only one that allows shotguns close by. I may just switch to this range from now on, and look past the problems they had in the past.

I practice at our city range most of the time (free for us), sometimes on one of my academy buddy's land, and I practice at home :gah:......drawing from holster, dry firing, mag changes, malfunction drills
Local indoor range that has mini range passes for $75 a year. (Monday thru Friday 10-4) I go during the day when it's quiet and shoot for maybe a half hour or so.
Thank God I have my own private property to practice on behind my house and if that becomes unavailable I have two farm properties that I would have to drive a few miles. From the stories that I have read and seeing how some of these Wanksters handle firearms, I am glad I don't have to be in close proximity to them with a loaded deadly weapon.
