Attended Tom Givens advanced handgun instructor class

Hi, I was blessed with the opportunity to attend Tom Givens Advanced firearms class at FAS. I will give a more thourogh AAR later, but in short it is a fantastic class. I have extensive firearms experience as a retired 19D, served 5 years with Ed Stock in the 19th Group, 4 Combat tours, and was just the subject of a documentary Seconds to a New War, 9 times fired at the All Army matches in either rifle or light machine gun. But, I have to admit I pretty much ignored the handgun as something to get me to my rifle. Now, as a civilian, the owner of Gator Farm Tactical, I have been putting an emphasis on handgun. I wish I had attended Tom Givens class sooner. I live 12 miles from the border and my SOCOM16 will still be my go to firearm, but I will employ the drills I learned from Tom to great use. I will send Vicki Butler, and possibly Phil Wong to the class as soon as it is economically

Tom and Lyn Givens are both "go to" instructors for those that want/need training. I've trained with them and hopefully will do so again in the future. JMO
