Looks like a great course for civilian/leo,and I like it when Instructors incorporate trauma in their courses.And the pnuemothorax is something many want attempt,but if i'm collapsing a lung,hey,stick me,your gonna lose anyway if you don't try.

Our CERT team was looking for volunteers for an Active School Shooter Training here in Dallas for the DPD. Our mission would have been to act
as hostages, with the possibility of taking hits from rubber bullets. No thanks, passed on that one.

Just remember that the training needs to address all kinds of scenarios, from the angry ex-husband/wife, to the terrorists that generally attack in mass, to school type shootings with multiple suspects.

I have been fortunate enough to get yearly training in these types of situations, and it keeps you on your toes.

Remember that freedom isn't free, and criminals like to travel in packs....

Yep - the training at TDI was quite comprehensive.
