That's pretty good for a generic video. The jab at the beginning against designated victim zone signage, intentional or not, was good also.

Was just thinking... I know, that's dangerous, but it's actually just a modification of the best courses of action in any threat situation. Even if you're armed and the situation warrants lethal force...
If you can, Run - move off the X. If possible, make that movement to cover (Hide), as you draw your weapon to Fight.
Just like the video indicates, sometimes the situation makes the first one or two steps moot.

I have heard many say that running is a good option. While it is true that most people cannot hit a running target those that recommend it for incidents like what happened at Aurora leave out one fact. Running targets are hard to hit but running targets attempting to run out the same small exit at the same time are a guaranteed can't miss situation. Someone would be hit each time the trigger was pulled.

Carry a Concealed Firearm
ETA: ..... and a flashlight with GOOD batteries
Concealed means concealed
Evade/Escape if it can be done safely
Stand your ground and terminate the threat through speed of action and overwhelming violence if escape is not a viable option.
Update resume if necessary.

I wasn't sure if this was the right place to put this, but here it is.
It is a video that shows ways to survive a shooter. I really liked when the bad guy came through the front door, there was a "gun free zone" sign. Look quick...they don't show it long. Worth a look and surprisingly good IMO.

On the original posted video (not the second one) something I didn't notice at first, there is a 30.06 sign (Texas no gun sign) on the front door at the .59 mark. If they allowed CCing in the building someone might have been able to stop him but instead they have to fight back with chairs and pencils
