Looking for Hand to Hand and Concealed Carry/Advanced Firearms training, suggestions?
Hey all, I am a student from Portland, OR and spend most of my time there, but I am from near Everett, WA and occasionally back up north. Looking for recommendations on where to take some Hand to Hand combat training i.e. Krav Maga or some more advanced firearms training in the area. Thanks!
Might be a drive, but Dave Spaulding is holding a 2 day Close Quarter class in central Oregon. I believe it's listed on his site. Not sure about hand to hand tho.
Suarez International offers both types of classes and they are all over the country, I don't know if they have anything scheduled in your neck of the woods currently.
Still haven't ruled the Marine Corps out! Seriously, would love to do OCS after graduating college and try for a flight slot. Been my dream for a long time.

If you honestly mean that you need to talk to an OSO quickly. If you don't wait until after college and start working on it sooner they can have things in place where you just step off campus and into uniform already on the path you're interested in.
It looks like there are a good bit of Krav Maga Worldwide gyms in Oregon/Washington. If you get a membership with a Krav Maga Worldwide affiliate gym in Oregon, other affiliate gyms will recognize your membership and allow you to train there. If there is one near you in Washington then you maybe able to work out a deal with the owner to allow you to train at that gym when you are home, as some gyms might not allow you to come for a few months strait. The gym I attend here in SC allowed me to try out a class for free to decide if I wanted to join, gyms near you may allow you to do the same.
