Absolutely excited!
Happy Happy Joy, Joy! (nod to Ren and Stimpy) Our gun club, Whistling Pines Gun Club, is adding a full tactical bay! Instruction and practice with instructors will be available within about another 60 days, and they have big plans to expand class lists to include active fire situations. Hubby and I are both looking forward to learning more than how to shoot standing at the firing line!
On another note, maybe the Shield I ordered in May will actually arrive before the tactical range opens, so I can actually learn to use it in there! I'm fairly comfy with my Sig, and I love it but sure would like the Shield to actually get here!

Very nice. When complete, post up some pics....

I know you will enjoy the addition to your facilities...Good on you and hubby for wanting and seeking more training...Be safe...

That's great news - please do post some pics when things are up and running!

I would be excited, too. Post some pictures when possible. We would love to see how it is set up.

Definitely exciting news!

Ohh, never thought of pictures! Awesome idea. Will get some and post when we get to use the bay. I plan to spend a lot of time this winter in classes in that bay!

Every reason to be excited. Whistling Pines makes the ole dirt piles where I shoot look pretty basic. Hope you'll keep us posted on how it goes.

This is great news! I just wish we could have something like that here in the Land of Oz. NO rapid fire allowed here so the Mozamique drill is out. We have one range that has signs everywhere and the SO actively enforces a "ONE ROUND AT A TIME IN THE MAGAZINE" rule. I honestly think IDPA are just four letters in the alphabet here. God, I do miss Colorado!!!!
