Training recommendations in TX?
So it occurs to me that while I have my TX CHL and I'm no slouch behind the trigger I haven't taken any firearms training since the Navy and even then that was limited. My google-fu has yielded some results near Houston but I've never heard of them. I wish I had TDI, front site, or thunder ranch within easy driving distance.
Found these guys:

Anybody heard of them
Any recommendations in the eastern half of Texas or in Louisiana?

Suarez is where I go. And I have no regrets from any training I've done with them.

I haven't been there but toss the link out when people ask about training in Texas, some have gone and liked the training they received. Not much more I can add, but I'd be willing to give it a shot.

I have used them once (so far) based on a recommendation from another tactical expert that has been shooting for decades and who i would consider to be a real expert in this area. I trusted his opinion and he was correct. I'll use them again and again. He has classes and seems open to timing and tailoring for you on an individual basis. Very knowledgable, thorough and professional without being "stuffy".
