Orlando gun range allows customers to shoot at each other

    Interesting twist for training.

Combat City allows realistic shooting experience

ORLANDO, Fla. - The video game Call of Duty is incredibly realistic. The situations test survival skills, but in the end, it’s just a game.

Now, there is a new, first-of-its-kind gun range in Central Florida that brings Call of Duty -- and other real-life scenarios -- to life.

It's a place where people can take their gun and shoot at people -- and they shoot back. There are, however, important rules of engagement that the owner says makes his gun range perfectly safe.

I'd try it! Be interesting to see how I'd do.

I wonder if the weapon modification affects accuracy?

Sounds like a Simunitions (ammo) type experience.

Strange, though, that they're relying on replacement equipment for customer weapons. Can't imagine the amount of inventory they'd need to have on-hand to support whatever firearms came in the door.

Pain is a great teacher. Just ask any one who has touched a hot stove.

I've done the paintball thing once. It was fun and those things sting.

Learned about suppressive fire too. Some guy had a fully automatic paint ball gun and boy did it keep heads down!

I would be interested, now if they would just add a 12ga shotgun and M1 carbine

I can get them the number to the closest USMC and Army recruitment center. They can actually get paid to do this. And no having to yell, 'I have a gun'.

Article fails before it even gets going by declaring Call of Duty to be "incredibly realistic".
