some people like it, some don\'t. As far as \"lightning fast, i\'ve seen people just as fast using widely accepted techniques.
Interesting. Thank you for sharing Bushido.

Isocolese stance, front sight. You know, the stuff just about every tactical handgun instructor teaches. Just that this is different.
I\'m not saying the CAR system is bad, i just couldn\'t get used to certain aspects of it, like sighting with your weak eye and the heavily bladed stance.
The only real downside i see is a possible lack of precision in longer shots (possibly having to change your stance to take longer shots) and the fact that if you wear body armor the bladed stance exposes your unarmored flank and really is quite a small advantage as far as reducing your target size.
That\'s just my opinion though. I certainly wouldn\'t want to get into a gunfight with the guy in the video.
From what i\'ve heared you can only really learn CAR well from an instructor, being that the only instructor i know of only teaches LE and military (not us lowly civillians) i can\'t really comment.

It\'s pretty quick. At that range with good training and lots of practice it\'s obtainable.
I should post some video\'s of me and my shooting partner doing drills. In the meantime, here\'s some vids of James Yeager, the man who\'s outfit i trained under.

TRI (Yeager\'s outfit) will be in Pheonix, AZ doing their 2 day tactical pistol class april 9-10. That was the class that started me on my road to addiction. Can\'t get enough training. www.warriormindset.com
Thanks, I might give them a call. :kay:Originally posted by clubsoda22

you won\'t regret it, it is one of the most comprehensive 2 day pistol courses around. You\'ll definately love the speed at which the class moves. We had 2 new shooters there, one the daughter of one of the instructors and one the girlfriend of one of the other students. They started out slow, but by the end of the two days they were shooting like pros. All the guys who went in there already shooting well were shooting even better.
I thought i was good before the class, but it ended up completely changing the way i shoot and train.
Bumper, did you see the vid where he does a clearing of his pistol?
