What really bothers me is the fact that some moronic show on the idiot box actually puts something that irresponsible on the air. Glorify the horrendously stupid. Typical.

lol. wow. That could be the "stupidest" thing i've seen in a while. Get ready for even less qualified people to try this and get some very poor results.

I understand a level of trust between squad members, but this may be a bit much.

I sure hope he has good medical insurance if he makes a habit of being that dumb!! Trust is one thing, but down right stupid is another. Even the best of us makes mistakes, you do not want to be in front of an armed and firing weapon when that mistake occurs..

Real dumb technique in my book.

The audio on my computer is messed up, so the only word I heard clearly in that video was "stupid" and it aptly described the entire event.

There once was an instructor who put his students down range and shot near them so that they could experience what it is like to be shot at. This may seem harsh but the military does use live ammo when they train. At least they did when I went through training and live rounds were fired overhead. My dad was shot in the leg while training during WWII. When he stopped to put on his gas mask, he planted his foot and raised his leg for leverage and a bullet tore through it. Put him in the hospital for almost a full year because they wanted to save the leg rather than amputate. So although this may seem bad, live fire training was and perhaps, still is in use by our Government.

Holeeeee Crap " For many recruits this drill is too extreme and they drop out of training" No they are smart enough to realize they don't want to go to prison for involuntary manslaughter.
"Contracting Company" must be like Orkin, the girl is using a ruger 22 target pistol, got a bug or mouse problem we don't use harmful chemicals we use bullets,do not be alarmed you can go about your daily home life as you can see in the video we are trained to shoot around humans so the chance of hitting any of you would have to be almost well it's like really really unlikely
