    Your teacher is Ken Pannell founder of Sikal Tactical Combatives. Respectfully called Guru (Indonesian for teacher), he has over thirty-five years of experience and training. Guru Ken switched from martial sports to martial combat in the early eighties and has since become an expert in all aspects of close quarter combat.

    He opened his first school in Dayton in 1988 and currently operates (with the assistance of his wife, Pamela, and the Sikal Tactical Staff) Asian Fighting Arts in Kettering, OH. Guru Ken was voted into the Martial Arts Hall of Fame as 2001 Kali Instructor of the Year and is a past director of the Arnold Battle of Columbus.
