Am I the only one who resents the e-mails and marketing from front site? Three or four a day. Many of them insulting my intelligence and skill's.
I seem to get two or three e-mails a day, saying he's going to have to drop my e-mail address if I don't take advantage of his range soon. Of course I have been receiving those e-mails saying I'm going to be dropped for about 6 months.

I got them for awhile, then I found the unsubscribe button, problem solved.
I agree that he gets out of line and I called and got my name taken off there mailing list because unsubscribe button did not get it done.
If you don't like the frequency of the emails, and I agree that they send more than enough, but didn't quite want to unsubscribe, you can always make a Front Sight folder in your inbox and create a rule that all of them go there instead of being mixed in with your normal inbox. That way too you can easily get rid of all of them at once or easily comb through the ones that you want to read. Just a thought.

I went to their web sight just now, and he immediately starts talking. I couldn't shut it down fast enough. It's like a loud infomercial. They could use a little help with web design/etiquette.

They almost sound like a cult. I met an instructor who is big on them. I liked him and would take a class from him locally, but to go somewhere and live in their hotel. The more i hear about them the CREEPIER it sounds.

If you search this forum you will find several threads with people going off about their marketing techniques. It drives most people away, but they keep increasing, so it must be working. From what I have gathered, they are great for someone who has never had formal training and is looking for a place to get started, but because they crank so many people through it is very much their way or the highway in training, and they use hard sell tactics for marketing.
My brother got a good deal on a few classes, so we will be headed down there soon to check them out. I usually just delete his marketing emails. The blog updates about stories and videos can be interesting though (the first of the three times that he sends you the same one anyway).

My wife and I took a 2 day course at Front Site about 3-4 yrs ago and both thought it was excellent.
I have since unsubscribed and do not receive emails from them.

you don't have to stay in the hotel or even on site. They do not have a hotel yet. I purchased a few of their lifetime memberships a few years ago for about $300.00. I now get all the 2 day courses i want for life for free. I gave two memberships to my sons and sold the other three to recoup my money. A couple years later i used my membership to purchase new upgraded memberships that cost me about $400.00. I have sold two and now have free 4 day courses for life for free as well as reduced cost at all the other courses they now offer. I usually stay at their camp site, unless i have one of my daughters and/or granddaughters with me then i stay at the Casino in Pahrump. I love the place and the classes. My daughters who inherited their mothers phobia of firearms and/or self defense are now fervent 2nd amendment supporters.
