My old friend Steve Hadyen is now retired from the N.Y.P.D. ( SWAT Officer) as well as from the Army's Rangers/Special Ops.
I met Steve at a local gun range back in 1999 and felt that he had a lot to offer as an instructor.
After 9/11 he took a leave from the police department to go back on active duty where he saw extensive combat in Afghanistan.
Steve is soft spoken but a true BTDT kind of guy.
I am glad to see that he is now teaching full time.
By all means check him out.

"qualified civilians" - - in new York?

looks like an awesome school, but not very...accessible? to most folks?

he should move to a more friendly state, didn't you say he retired? he should go to Arizona.

but what do I know. Cool looking school though!
Beans, Bullets, and Bandages. The only thing better than being ready is not having to use it!

It's always nice to see more firearms training institutes becoming available. Good luck to your friend Steve!

He does some classes in PA and is available as a traveling instructor.
Steve's family is here and he is very popular with local law enforcement, so he will probably not move for awhile.
