He has also researched virtually every threat focused shooting system for many years. This course distills it all into one well thought out and extremely applicable system that dovetails neatly into the regular Close Range Gunfighting matrix, presenting the full aspect of the integration of sighted and unsighted fire at CQB distances.

    Point Shooting Progressions Course Overview

The “Fight Continuum” React as you need to react, see what you need to see, and move as you need to move.

This course comes directly out of my experience in Gabe Suarez's “Interactive Gun Fighting” course. Immediately after the course I went out looking to train with the very best point shooters in the country. This course is a direct link to my findings while training with Gabe, 7677, and Matt Temkin. This course is designed to make a shooter the very best that they can be in regards to point shooting with dynamic movement. It is designed to make the shooter more well rounded and completely versatile inside what is now being called “The Fight Continuum.” After this course you will be able to use your hand/eye coordination to make combat accurate hit from any angle, from any position, throughout your one and two handed draw stroke, with whatever movement is necessary. This course is designed to feel in the gaps in prior sighted fire training so that the shooter can seamlessly integrate sighted and unsighted fire into one “simply shooting” concept.

Right now, my range is far to small to host any classes of size. I am working on a new range, I hope it will be ready by this fall.

I am coming to Vegas for a long weekend In June, do you have anythig going on then?

I am sitting back and seeing how my first group course does. I do not want to count my chickens before they hatch. WTS, I am still running some private courses for the guys that want a little more or can not make the group courses.

I would really like to set something up with you in June.

Sounds good. I dont gamble, but I understand there are plenty of things in Vegas to get me in trouble. Maybe some shootin might keep me on the straight and narrow. I am coming in for a buddy's wedding. I know nobody except him there, and I think he will be far to busy to entertain me. I had planned on leaving my guns at home, but maybe I'll have to get a magic letter so I can fly out there with some toys.

Everybody needs an excuse to go to Vegas....

    and here it is.

I have come up with a few hotel options depending on what the students want to get out of the trip to Vegas. You can stay in Boulder City, which is a quite small town five mile outside of the Vegas Valley. There is no gaming in Boulder City and the hotels are a little more "quaint."

Right in between Boulder City and Vegas we have Railroad Pass. This is where many of Gabes students stayed during CRG and CRGII. Decent rooms, casino, and resturants at a decent price. It is pretty isolated though. Approx. 8 miles from the range

For something a little more we have The "Fiesta." This is a "locals" casino in Henderson. Much nicer rooms, casino, and restuarants. Walmart ammo supply a couple of miles away. Approx. 13 miles from the range.

If anyone needs to entice the significant other with a really nice casino we also have Green Valley Ranch Resort and Spa. Aprox. 15 miles from the range. http://www.greenvalleyranchresort.com/

Hey guys, just wanted to let you know that I will be receiving help in this course from my training partner. He is very much "a man behind the scenes." He has been through everything that I have been through to get this course and these skills up to the point that they are.

We are both NRA certified Range Safety Officer (RSO), NRA Basic Handgun and Personal Protection in the Home Instructors. We have both taken over 50 formal firearm courses....including four with Gabe and one with Matt Temkin and 7677. We have both worked very hard to bring the skills and the curriculum to the point that they are today. He has also competed in IPSC and IDPA for a number of years before we started "tactical training."

The point of telling you all this is to assure everyone that while this is a very advanced course, the students will have the benefit of two highly trained instructors/RSO to keep the course safe and the learning experience as productive and efficient as possible.

Looking forward to seeing you on the range.

    Roger,
I know it has been a long journey for to get to this point and I hope that this class will be success for you and as you have put in a lot of hard work to set it up.

This class covers the full spectrum of threat focused shooting except for one area, Quick kill, and will push the students abilities to the point where everything will become second nature. You will analyze a situation, act, and at the end of the class, you will be amazed at what you have learned and how far you have come.

I know this because I taught Roger in threat focused shooting as well as Matt Temkin and Robin Brown and everything we taught him he soaked up like sponge and was able to reproduce out on the range. I tested Roger, with some really devious tests and he passed with flying colors.

Now Roger has moved from student to instructor and by the reading what he is going to teach I would say his students are in for an excellent class so don't miss it.

Though I haven't trained with Roger I have found him to be well written, well spoken, and totaly consumed by the shooting sport. I have spoken with Roger several times on the phone and we are very simular in our thought process in this style of shooting. People this really is too good of a system not to look at . It has saved my life before and I have No doubts to its effectivness.

    7677 & JMusic,

    Thank you all very much!

I have taken a lot of courses...learn from a lot of outstanding individules. I just want to be able to give back what so many great instructors have given me.

Here is what I learned from the very best of these people.

"Just give quality tools to good people, so that they have the chance to come home to the people that love them."

    Simple as that!

Haha - that's about like ''up two steps and down one'' At least the satisfaction quotient must help

That is a famous quote from Tom Givens.

Some people are just born to teach and it does not matter how little they make while they do it.....they just love it.

I learned from a huge number of these types.
