I've taken 5 classes at the Firearms Academy of Seattle. And I'll be there for more this year.

I think they have great classes for reasonable prices.

Check out their FREE Handgun Safety Class.

    http://www.firearmsacademy.com/free.htm

You get a half a day of classroom and half a day on the range with live fire, and the class is FREE. Well , you do have to get your self there. Its a great way to check out the facilities and instructors without paying for a class.

I have taken classes at both Wade's and FAS.

Wade's can be hit or miss depending on who is teaching the class. Some are great, others marginal. Also, many classes get cancelled, sometimes at the last minute Teaching is low on the priority list at Wade's since the majority of their income is derived from the retail store/range.

FAS is ALWAYS great. It is a little further to drive, but the instructors are all first class, as are the facilities.

Thanks for this link, they have a good website with an excellent description for requirements for Canadians coming to shoot, plus their prices aren't to bad. Might have to arrange for a trip and drop my wife and kid off at our friends down there. I want to come down there and take part in a match one of these days.
