Anyone shoot at this range or taken their courses? Was thinking of taking one or two CCW course down there and wanted an opinion of value for money. Thanks

I'm not familiar with them, but the wife and I are taking a class from THESE guys later this month in PA, they are based out of Bellevue, WA. and do classes in other states as well.
We'll be giving a review after the class at the end of the month.

The folks at FAS are absolutely first class. Facilities, instructors and curriculum are all first rate, great 'bang for the buck'. Marty and Gila run a stellar program.
A very satisfied customer of FAS.

This is my first post here.
From Insights I have taken:
General Defensive Handgun
General Defensive Rifle
Tactical First Aid
From FAS I have taken:
Advanced Defensive Handgun
Precision Rifle I
I'm scheduled to take Precison Rifle II in 5 weeks. This is not called a sniper class.
Insights is an excellent school, I have absolutely nothing negative to say about the instruction received. Their range is indoor 25 yard which limits what training you can do past the basics IMO.
I transferred to FAS specifically because of their range facilities which are, to be understated, outrageously excellent. They have everything from scenario houses to dark houses, 270-degree moving targets, 360 degree shooting pits, 100/200/300/400 yard rifle ranges, a 3-story shooting tower, a combat run-thru course... a steel-target range... 50 yard pistol.. It's nuts.
The instruction is excellent, they are easy to deal with and no matter what you skill level you will learn. No yelling, no BS. Their classes run like clockwork: always doing something, never rushed nor bogged-down.
I just took the FAS tactical scenarios class this past weekend which really really brought up my awareness of my weaknesses. I need to MOVE and SHOOT, baby, keep moving!
I can recommend both places highly without reservation, but the range facilities at FAS alone is worth the drive.
If you live close enough, you can take their 6-hour special interest seminars which are inexpensive and great. I don't live closely enough for that at todays gas prices.
Soon I'll be out of classes at FAS and I plan on taking one of the scenario-based Insights classes next year.
I'm not involved with them in any way except as a happy student. Marty has made me a serious shooter and for that I thank him.
I live in Machias, WA

Great info, thank you! You have helped me make up my mind on classes and whether it would be worth the drive and stay for a two day.
I'm in Federal Way, so right in between both places.

Thanks, now that our dollar is on par, I will have to contact them for courses.
