I am moving from NM to TN. I still have an active Virginia CCW which give me reciprocity. As I read the laws for TN and it appears to me that I will have to go through the complete course offerred by a TN instructor.
Does anyone have recommendations for courses in southeast TN? Chattanooga is the closest metro area, but I am willing to drive further for the right training.
I have always found retired LEO/SWAT instructors in the past and have greatly appreciated their approach.
I also have a few family members intrerested in CCW who are willing to register and make up a small class for more private instruction.
Any suggestions will be appreciated.
Ahh, there is part of the reason that the Tennessee permit is tied for first place as the most valuable permit in terms of being traveler friendly.

I think Paul Castle at Sabre Tactical is a good way to go. He is in Nashville, and probably has a much larger curriculum than you're looking for. He'll teach you the Center Axis Reloc technique (cool), and he's got some great stories.
