Congratulations on the success of your class and in getting the newspaper to do an article. No reflection on you or your class, but I do take a bit of exception with the newspaper identifying class members with their full name. Seems it would have been much better to use only their first name.

Women only? So Hotguns did you dress up in drag for the class? Please post pictures.
Yoda, I am, yes.
I certainley hope so.It's articles and events like that which will turn the tide.
I thought that was a bit odd too. The people interviewed did agree to let the paper use their full name though.I do take a bit of exception with the newspaper identifying class members with their full name. Seems it would have been much better to use only their first name.
Not only "No" but HECK NO.So Hotguns did you dress up in drag for the class?
Somehow, I dont think my 6'2" 275 pound frame would have been very appealing while standing at the front of the class...
even if I did wear a dress...
we were trying to attract people to the class...not run them off...![]()

Here is anotherto you. It's great that you are raising more awareness. Not just for the women that are being trained, but also for the women who will benefit because the miscreants won't know if they are among those who HAVE trained.
There are two sides to every issue: one side is right and the other is wrong, but the middle is always evil.

Its not me...its them. It's great that you are raising more awareness
You cant imagine how many people have asked me about it that have "heard" about it from their friends. At work they are kicking around the idea of having a class just for the woman that work there. We have about 300 woman that work there, so that could be another sizable class.
