Mass. Police Firearms Conference

This is a discussion on Mass. Police Firearms Conference within the Defensive Carry & Tactical Training forums, part of the Defensive Carry Discussions category; I'll be doing a CQB rifle class here, as well as taking quite a few courses as a student. Should be a good one. http://www.mlefiaa.org/2008_CONFEREN..._REG_PAGE.html...

Let's just say that it's not a real "friendly" place.

There is at least one "loose cannon" who is allowed to run roughshod over everyone else. I witnessed enough such behavior and contacted the forum owner and a Mod and kindly suggested that cops beating on other cops shouldn't be allowed. So months later, when said "loose cannon" threatened to arrest a Fed merely for carrying the tools of his trade (some of which are illegal for non-LEOs to possess), I "took my leave" and quit said forum (and notified the owner and Mod of such action). Please note: I was never personally attacked by said "loose cannon", I just found it to be a very unfriendly place for anyone who wasn't a state trooper or municipal PO . . . and there are a lot of other types of LEOs out there. [I know a number of other LEOs who tell me that they get the same vibes from said forum.]

Bumper and crew here work very hard to keep this place very friendly to all, no personal attacks are allowed. Thus, I find this to be a much more friendly place to be. There are other respectful LEO-focused forums out there, I am a member of some of them although I don't frequent them.

If you are from the Northeast area, you might check out Northeastshooters.com New England's Premier Shooting Forum and sell your G30 there. Good deals listed there sometimes don't last more than an hour or two!
