I really want to go too. 2000 rounds in a weekend, busy times!
Treat me good, I'll treat you better. Treat me bad, I'll treat you worse.
I'm planning to attend if I can get the money together. I went to the one last June. Bring a set of mechanics gloves or griptape for your hands. If you've got a shotgun, bring it with some shells and clays.
My review is in my sig under the Gunsite Blog link. TAKE THIS CLASS!

ITFT / Quick Kill Review
"It is enough to note, as we have observed, that the American people have considered the handgun to be the quintessential self-defense weapon." - Justice Scalia, SCOTUS - DC v Heller - 26 JUN 2008
Just go! I've met Brownie when he came out here but I was unable to attend his class because of work obligations. I'm still kicking myself for not making it happen. I think it would be a great class if you have not yet adopted a combat shooting style. A lot can be learned from the quick kill methods.
"Just blame Sixto"

It's about three weeks away, and only two have confirmed to date. While I usually require a minimum of 8 students, this venue is only two hours from my home, consequently the expenses are quite a bit less so we'll move forward with 4 or more for this class.
Anyone who is going to stay after hours on Sat night will be given the rifle Quick Kill skills as a bonus. I'll have the bbguns and my shotgun and clays. If you bring your shotgun, we'll stay and play with it till dark gratis. It'll make for a long day, but I don't like to disappoint those who'd give up some time for more skills.
SixBravo,
Lets work with the previous arrangement again to make it happen.
AZ Husker,
You'll likely not make/need the 2K with a single stack 1911. In previous classes those who've used single stacks have averaged 1K-1200 rds for the two days. Those with high-caps and plenty of mags will get through near 2K in two days. It's not necessary to shoot that much to develop the skills, but the more you shoot under my guidance that weekend, the more confidence you'll have when you leave.
SIXTO,
Thanks for the kind words. I look forward to working with you in the future. One day we'll make that happen.
Lets plan on a final head count by Sept 20th to decide if we are moving forward with this one.
Brownie
Count me in...I'll get on your home website to place the deposit.

Brownie,
Concerning magazine holders/pouches-how many do you recommend, or won't they be necessary?

I wear a single or double mag pouch and put the rest of the mags in my back pockets. We're not doing multiple speed reloads so a few loaded on the belt and the rest loaded on your person somewhere will be perfect.
I carry 5 mags, you can get by with that but the more you bring the more you stay on the line using the skills we are working on at the time.
Any questions, feel free to email me at arizonaqkr "at" yahoo "dot' com. Looking forward to meeting and training with you that weekend.
Brownie
Well, I guess I'm in thenLooking forward to meeting and training with you that weekend.
Brownie
I'll fire off an email.
I'm hoping SelfDefense is still on board with this one as well and that he sees this thread.
You out there SelfDefense?
Brownie
We'll get you into the area one way or the other SelfDefense.
SixBravo has a lowrider and he got in and out no problem this spring. I don't think you'd have a problem with your ride if he can make in there, that car sat very low.
Brownie
Holiday Inn Express???
I'm hoping for a stop and flop. Any suggestions Brownie?

Nothing particular, there are several just east of downtown along that main road leading out of two. Butler Ave Quality Inn was where we stayed before though there's several along that strip.
