Anyone been to Defensive Handgun Training, LLC?

I was just curious about this operation as it looks very professional. I believe it is located near Florence, KY. I have emailed the head instructor there, Joe Kalil, and he seems very competent. The Advanced Concealed Carry course looks very interesting to me and just wanted to know if anyone had any first hand experience with this outfit. He also is certified to train the Instructor course so that a person can teach the Kentucky Concealed Weapons Course and this is something that I have been thinking of doing. Thanks in advance!

I've taken two courses from Joe so far and am scheduled to take the Advanced Tactics class next month. For the cost I think the training is excellent but I don't have actual experience with other training to compare with. He is a great guy who works hard to make the training work for all the students.

Just to follow up I completed the Advanced Tactics course this last Sunday. It was pretty cold and dreary but we all kept going, its not like bad things only happen when its 70 and sunny right? Besides, it really gave us a work out doing all the exercises from real concealment and with cold hands! Another great class from Joe. We were able to learn and practice things that many shooting ranges don't allow. Various shooting while moving exercises including timing comparisons at the start and end to gauge improvement on the day.

Again, for the price this is great training. It is local and Joe really wants feedback to help make future classes better. You can't always get that kind of access with the bigger schools.
