Any recommended training sites in WA?

I have completed a basic handgun handling & safety class, at Wade's, a while ago before I got my CPL. Now I'm looking for more in depth class.

    Any recommendations?

I have been considering the Firearms Academy of Seattle (directed by Marty Hayes) with classes in Arlington.

    Any tips are appreciated!

    You already named them.

    FAS.

Yep. In Washington, there is FAS and then there's everybody else.

I would strongly advise you to consider taking the training at the home base in Centralia rather than in Arlington. The FAS facilities themselves are absolutely incredible and couldn't be matched in a traveling road show environment.

I trained at the Centralia location. Excellent facility. They have some ranges that are outright unique in and of themselves. I wouldn't go when it is cold though. But that is me.

    The instructors are top notch.

Renton Fish and Game has a great IDPA setup, but no formal training that I am aware of. Permanent, interesting, realistic IDPA bays and friendly, dedicated people.

Going by reputation alone, as I don't live in WA, FAS is where I would go.
