    Virginia Firearms Law Seminar - Apr 11 in Linden

    It doesn't make sense to own a firearm and not know Virginia Law related to the ownership and use of that firearm, especially for self defense!

    This seminar and dinner is sponsored by Virginia Pistol, LLC and is presented by an NRA Certified Instructor who is also a practicing Virginia Firearms Attorney. The seminar is presented in accordance with guidelines contained in the N.R.A. personal protection training manuals and in accordance with Virginia Department of Criminal Justice guidelines.

    Topics covered include:
    . General rights and restrictions under Virginia law permitting the carrying of concealed handguns for self defense, including where you may and may not carry.
    . Virginia key legal provisions and restrictions pertaining to the use of deadly force in self defense.
    . Potential criminal and civil actions that may be taken subsequent to a defensive encounter.

    The seminar, which is approximately 3 hours in length, consists of a lecture portion followed by a Question and Answer session with the guest speaker.

    Virginia Pistol will also:
    . Provide information and answer questions on all of their Handgun Training Courses and offer discounts to those who register for a course during the seminar!
    . Provide new or renewal NRA memberships for $10.00 OFF the regular cost!
    . Hold drawings for FREE training courses and shooting accessories!

    Seminar Date, Time, Location and Schedule:

    The seminar is being held on Saturday April 11, 2009 at the Apple House Restaurant Banquet Room located on John Marshall Highway (Rt55) Linden, VA. Doors will open at 4:30 PM to sign in, and allow you time to Join or Renew your NRA Membership, receive information on training courses from Virginia Pistol, and visit available vendors. Dinner will be available at 5:30 and the seminar will begin at 6:00PM. Virginia Pistol representatives, NRA Recruiters and Vendors will also be available after the seminar.

    The cost of this informative seminar and dinner is only $39.00 per person payable in advance of the seminar and is non-refundable. ACT QUICKLY! THIS SEMINAR IS LIMITED TO ONLY 100 PEOPLE!

    From Rt66 West exit at the Linden exit (Exit 13), at the end of the exit ramp turn left at the traffic light. Go approximately 75 yards to the first traffic light that dead ends on John Marshall Hwy (Rt55) and turn right. Go approximately 25 yards and the Apple House is on your right behind the Shell Gas Station.

    I'm the "guest speaker", myself, the organizer is Jim Johnson, Virginia Pistol LLC, Welcome!; There are only a half a dozen seats left.

    Sam Hatfield, Hatfield's Gunsmiffin', in Manassas is planning a similar extravaganza for sometime in June.
