    A Few Range Snap Shots

Just got back from the range. This was the range I was so happy to find within 15 miles. The range i thought I was going to have to use is 60 miles away Anyway, with help from some of you guys, I made a target to bring seeing as how the line they provide is 25 yards away

Only my second time shooting, so don't too hard. Shot another 100 rounds of WWB 115 flawlessley (well fiance pulled the trigger twice, all I could get out of her). Figured I was shooting at around 12-15 yards.

Any advice on how to get good practice in is very welcome

Me after 100 rounds of fun...

This guy didn't have as much fun...

12-15 yds...wouldn't ya say....see how far away the line they have is

I don't even want to know what that truck looks like after all that... Seems like an expensive bullet trap for your range day...

Looks like a good start. Dry fire practice might help some. Keeping a consistent sight picture and trigger control is important.
the guy behind you must have lots of time to be picking brass one at a time like that.

Looks like a great day at the range!

These guys have a really good practice CD for dry fire and range drills.

Is this the free range that you found? I like the target stand. Might have to build one for the home range like that instead of stapling to a tree.

Have you priced brass lately? Heck, I'm about ready to start digging bullets out of the berm to melt down and re-pour.

This is on a WMA area

Well, it is almost free. It's on the honor system for a $3 fee. I pay simply because I'd like for them to be able to keep it clean and such. I think if I get a WMA license it's free, and I don't think those cost much at all.

Yeah, I'll see if I can find the link to that stand and pm it to you. It works pretty good, and comes apart into several small pieces.

Im gonna build a few stands like that this weekend I think. If it was only your 2nd time shooting I think you did pretty good.

You've inspired me to call the local officials to see about having a range on the WMA's here.

I like it, sure beats $15 per person plus the cost of targets at the range.
