Not sure if this is the correct place,but here goes.I'm looking to take a CCW class to qualify to get my CCW.Anyone have information on any?I'm on the peninsula but southside would be ok also.I seem to recall a link on a Richmond gun shop website for an online class but I can't find the link and the gun shop doesn't respond to my emails.

Bobs Gun Shop in Norfolk offers the ONLINE COURSE. While this is very convenient for those of us working crazy hours (I used it), I do strongly encourage hands on training if you are not familiar or comfortable with firearms.

I just took the Concealed Handgun course in Newport News today. The Marksman in Newport News (on industrial blvd) holds a class which allows you to get the permit. They hold a 6 hour course every Sunday for $55. I would highly recommend it.
Took mine at the Marksman in NN.
