Front Sight

Have any of you been to front sight? I saw a video and omgosh I would love to take a training course there even if it was for a few days for home defense CCW.

Not yet but I still hope to. Check the "training" Forum here, you'll find threads on them. And pick up one of their certificates on eBay, you can get your first course there for under a hundred bucks!

Maybe make that a search of all the Forums. Just found this thread (the one I was looking for), and it wasn't in training after all. Yep, an advanced search turns up several more threads (just used "Front Sight" in "search thread titles", obviously mixed with posts about front sights on various guns, but it's easy to sort through).

Just tried another advanced search, using "Front Site Academy", and left the parameters to "search entire posts". 2 pages of results .

I looked into it, and found their 4 day handgun training looked very interesting. But at a cool 2000.00 it's WAY out of my budget.

Check post #2 above. Certificates on Ebay available for $100 to $200 for the $2000 course provided it is your first visit.

Paid $150 for my certificate and had a GREAT time!

I took the 4 Day Defensive Handgun course and I actually got closer to 5 days of training. It was very good.

They have a FS Alaska. It'd be easier than to travel here.

My brother is military and went through a TON of training before deploying to Afghanistan. He came home and took his wife to Front Sight and said it is the BEST training he's ever had. He did the 4 day defensive handgun course. Bought his certificate on e-bay for less than $200
