Some pictures from the carbine course!
This class was a blast! We had first time shooters all the way up to SWAT Cops and BW operators fresh from the sand box.
The course lasted about 12 hours and started with BZO at 25yards and then 50 yards and we shot out to 125 yards.
We ran box drills, snake drills, speed limit drills, shooting from cover, shooting from vehicles, around vehicles and through vehicles. We did Break Contact drills, Ambush drills, and transition drills with pistols, low light and no light shooting. We also ran malfunction clearing and reloading drills as well. We shot about 700-1000 rounds of carbine and about 150-200 rounds of pistol.
We shot on paper and steel targets. I had 4 Instructors and one dedicated Armorer for the course. Since we did a Maintenance Armorer course at the beginning of class and learned the proper way to lubricate the carbine we did not have one malfunction during the entire course.
Great class, and a huge boost to confidence. I had a great time, ran around like I was in infantry battle school again, and got to shoot a lot of steel, and was sore when I got home. Can't ask for more than that for $150.
Looks like a great time! Nice pics!
