Whats the best Advanced Training school in Texas?

Im talking about shooters training of course. I and a friend are interested in taking some pisotol and assault rifle training courses together. I just love to shoot and want some good training, my buddy is going into law enforcement and eventually swat.

We live in SE Texas and want to keep our triaining in Texas though well go as far as Dallas, Nacogdoches, Ausin, San Antonio, Beaumonte, and Corpus Christi. Price is not so much an issue(you get what you pay for), we just want to get the best available.

Specifically we want classes for Defensive pistol, conceal carry, home defense, assual rifle and night time/ low light tactics.

You might try calling Top Gun range in Houston. There is a defensive pistol class that meets there on Tuesdays and while it is probably not at the calibre you are looking for, I am sure someone there can point you in the right direction.

If you are in the Houston area, you need to talk to the 360 Tactical Training guys at Memorial Shooting Center....

To learn the rifle, you have Paul Howe there in Texas or you can check to see if Dave Harrington has a class scheduled in Texas. For AK-47 related classes check with Paul Gomez who is located in the Dallas area.

    +1 to the above

Gomez teaches at TacPro in Mingus, Tx. They have courses that cover a variety of weapons (pistol, shotgun, rifle, etc.) as well as FOF classes.

You might also check Tactical Response's schedule as they have classes down in Tx a few times per year.

If you carry in Condition 3, you have two empty chambers. One in the weapon...the other between your ears.
