Sounds like a good idea. Either here, if it can be made private, or over at Armed Citizens' Legal Defense Network. Ayoob's adamant about having LFI course material remain with LFI students.
Very good idea. :hand10: I hope Bumper will support the idea.
There are a lot of us out there.

What's up with this idea?
Bumper, what say you?

No offence to ANYONE. Not all of us can afford to go to expensive
defence schools. Maybe we might be percieved as being a little
Elitist?
Don't let that stop you. The rest of us would be interested.Quote:

None was taken. :bier:
It took me twenty years to make it to Mas' LFI class. I regret not doing it sooner.
There are certain things that one learns in the class, and topics discussed that should not be available to anyone, in an open forum. It's not "super-secret" ninja stuff, but it does have to do with how one views certain things, and tactics.
As you may guess, from reading my various post, I am more than a little hesitant to use a firearm, and really hesitant to do so in defense of others. This comes from knowing the judicial "climate" in my locality. I also have the "counter-attack" to a prosecutor's attack on me. That's what your LFI class teaches, among many other things.
Many of the things you would learn in Mas' LFI class you could learn on your own, and applying common sense, but that's not so common these days. What Mas did was do all the research and Beta Testing for you and boiled it down to an easy to learn format.
It seems costly, and it is, but if you compare it to some other schools you will see that it's really quite inespensive. Sorry about sounding like an LFI commercial. At least I didn't type in Billy Mays mode, ALL CAPS!
Take care, stay safe and learn all you can.

Not that I am against a sub forum about Mas, but why not go directly to the source?
GRRN Forums - Index
Once there, check the ProArms Podcast forum which is Massad Ayoob, Gail Pepin, Jon and Terri Strayer and the rest of the LFI clan. Plus you get to hear their podcast!
PS: Do not tick Gail off. Bumper is Mother Teresa compared to her.
Thanks Miggy.
I know Gail and Mas. The thing is, I have a veeeeerrrrrrrryyyy slow computer and it doesn't do Podcast well.
I was hoping to get a private forum outside of something connected to Mas, Gail and all the others because of the old technology I'm using. I can certainly understand if DC wouldn't want to get involved in that, and truth be told I don't know if there would be enough support among the members we have here.
Thank you for the link. I did go over there, and got myself registered. :bier:

Miggy,
How can somebody known as "Evil Webmaster" call me mean?
Gail
P.S.
You can't hide.
Howdy Miss Gail. :bier:
I'm happy to see you here. :D
Take care and stay safe.

I just attended the Harrisburg PA LFI-I in June and am all for a sub-forum if Bumper approves.
Has anyone actually asked Bumper if this is something he would be willing to support or do?
