I'm looking for resources on where I might find some good classes to attend on the topics of "self defense" and firearms for the state of Washington (prefer near Seattle/Tacoma.)
I especially would like to find a professional course offered in which the laws of self defense are covered for the state of Washington.
Any thoughts or recommendations?

I have no insite but it is fantastic you want to get educated on your firearm and laws. Wish more folks would do it also.

InSights Training Center is in Bellevue, WA.
I'd recommend them. Took a class of theirs in PA a couple years ago. Good stuff.

I will second what has already been posted.
In WA State, you have two very good resources for firearms training.
The Firearms Academy of Seattle and Insights Training Center.
Both are top notch. ( I have trained with both in the past.)

Firearms Academy of Seattle does a few classes in Arlington at the Norpoint range. depending on your location, that may be closer.
