    Schrade Knives

    I have a Schrade Outback folding knife. It is in mint condition, and has never been used. I bought it, put it in my hiking back pack and forgot about it.

    I read that Schrade went out of business in 2004, and that made there knifes highly collectable.

    If so, does anyone know what these knifes are worth.

    Thanks

    Just went to a webpage that said they were worth $49.95 $10 less than the list price in 1993.

    Oh well, it might be something nice to give to my kid.

    The newer Schrade brand knives are ROC knives.
    ROC = Republic Of China.

    I have and old three blade "folder" I got while in high school, that was in the late 50's, and I still carry it. Well used. One blade has a bit on a nick it from me trying to splice a "live wire", that I was told it was "dead".
