I am just as nice as anyone lets me be and can be just as mean as anyone makes me. - Quoted from Terryger, New member to our forum.
Say what you want about Busse but, INFI is the only knife steel that has stood up to the absolutely insane destructive knife testing at knifetests.com.
I'm not sure how critically important it is for any knife to withstand that sort of extreme "above & beyond normal" use/abuse but, it's nice to know that the knife will survive anything that you can toss its way.
I personally have never abused any knife by pounding it through a heavy steel chair seat with a 5# sledge or chopped and pounded a knife through concrete cinder blocks but, it is reassuring to know that a survival knife can handle it.
I never paid much attention to the claims by Busse but, it was the independent knife test VIDS are the main reason that I opted for Busse Combat over any others for my survival apps knife.
You more seasoned members may remember that I was originally going to go with a Fallkniven laminated steel blade but, it didn't fair too very well in extreme testing.
Here you go Busse is on both pages.........The link to knifetests.com ----> http://knifetests.com/
Actually on the Busse forum I think they did give the component specs of INFI steel.
I know that at my Wifes company the majority of the products developed there are under Secrecy Agreement & the formulations are proprietary.
