    Kydex Sheaths

I'm "into" edged weapons. I just think knives are cool. I enjoy edged weapon training, and I'm fortunate enough to live in a state where I can carry pretty much any knife (and as many of them) I choose. Autos, and double edged blades are out, but I'm not all that fond of either anyway, so I'm a pretty happy guy. There's just one problem. Most knives come with sheaths that are not very well suited to carry. Many good knives come with sheaths that are just plain junk. So, I started making my own.

Mercharness sheath for my RAT Cutlery RC-3.

These work in a wide variety of carry positions, with a wide variety of attachments.
The knives are a Spyderco Swick, and an Emerson La Griffe.

Izula, and CRKT Ryan Plan B, showing a few of the possible mounting options.

I designed this one for use with a small Tek-Lok, to be carried horizontally, edge up, just to the left of my belt buckle. That's how I carry my Street Beat about 90% of the time.

Also for my Street Beat, for the 10% when I carry it IWB, or on a Mercharness.

IWB for my CRKT Polkowski-Kasper Companion.

I have been working in the edged weapon community for well over a decade and carrying knives much longer. I have handled knives and sheaths from dozens of knife and sheath makers out there. Matt's work is some of the cleanest and most thought out designs I have ever seen. He is a great guy and easy to do business with.- George

Mercharness sheath for a Damascus Bud Nealy that I covet.

This one is an old Gerber, model unknown to me. I did the cord wrap too.

    Thumbs up

Those are beautiful sheaths. Great work!
That which does not kill us leaves us broken and bleeding...

Donít mess with the guy who can barely stand up. His remaining options for self-defense don't include your survival.

Absolutely fantastic! I would love to have a better belt system for my Kabar TDI knives. What sort of prices are we looking at for one for a small and a large TDI?

Sheath for a SOG SEAL Pup w/ horizontal MOLLE mount plate. My client, SSG ____, plans to wear it at about waist level on his vest.
