My EDC knife is a Kershaw "Needs Work" with a 3" blade.

"If you carry a gun, people will call you paranoid. That's ridiculous... If I have a gun, what in the hell do I have to be paranoid for?" [Clint Smith - Thunder Ranch]
Unfortunately that is the case... Colorado considers spring assisted knives as "switchblades" which are considered "illegal weapons" according to CO Criminal Code Section 18-12-101 unless it has been updated and I didn't know about it.
It's a shame too because I received the Gerber 06 Auto as a groomsman gift from one of my good friends earlier this year. I can't carry it here... but it is such a great gift I couldn't possibly get rid of it... so unfortunately it just sits in my nightstand.
Actually... reading that code again... it shows that even knowledgeable possession of one here in CO is a class 1 misdemeanor which means I'm gonna have to ship that thing to my brother in MO (where spring assisted knives are legal) so he can hold on to it for me until hopefully the laws change here!
That's a dadgum shame... not only is it a very nice knife... but it holds some great sentimental value to it too.
I collect knives, especially tactical folders, boot knives and push daggers.
I have Benchmades, Gerbers, Al Mars, and about half of Cold Steel's catalog.
.....but the knife I clip into my right front pocket every single day, without fail, is a CRKT M16-13LE. It's just......handy.

Great to see this thread resurrected!
I guess I'll finally contribute.
I have a serious knife addiction. I try to keep it to the lower to mid range in price so I can afford more volume! At last count I have 35 folders and 7 fixed blades(including a couple decoration only swords). I guess the real addiction is to folders.
Among my favorites are:
SOG Flash II, plain edge, zytel
Kershaw Leek
Kershaw Rainbow Chive
CRKT M16-01Z
CRKT M16-10Z
CRKT M21-04
CRKT Elishewitz Pharaoh
Ka-Bar TDI, plain edge
And several kit knives that I purchased from knifekits.com that are surprisingly well made. My favorite of these would be the DDR3 button lock
I just ordered a Crawford "The Natural 2" with jig bone scales from CRKT and the next on my list is a Zero Tolerance. I haven't decided if I'll go with the 301 or the 350 first but I'll probably end up with both in time.
So to actually get to the OP's topic.
I vary in my SD carry from the Flash II, M21 and DDR3BL. I have recently started carrying the TDI weak side on occasion, but I always have the Chive or M16-01Z for utility. The chive is just a fun little knife and the M16 is the perfect size for day to day chores.

Just added the CRKT Delegate:
This is a very nice pocket knife. Not a tactical blade, this is just a utility knife you'll use for opening things, but the fire-safe mechanism, outburst fly-open, clip, and surgical sharpness are very nicely done. Makes for good daily carry.
"It may seem difficult at first, but everything is difficult at first."
I carry a Spyderco Superleaf in my pocket. Good size for EDC and I like the compression lock.
Glock 36, 30SF, 31, 32, 21 Gen4 - Carry guns
Ruger Mini-14 and Remington 870 by the bed both wearing Surefire lights.
Always carry a knife-they are handy to have
Always carry a reload-You probably won't need it but it is good insurance .
Always carry a light- To see in the dark

Thx for posting this thread. I've recently decided to look into EDC knives and seeing the variance of the ones you guys/gals are carrying is giving me great ideas on what to choose from.
