Just did a google search and there are two models available. One is 440A stainless steel and looks quite like the picture you posted and is called the Gerber Freeman Hunter, the other is called the Gerber Freeman Stag and has a S30V steel blade. Search results here.
Yes, there are other models of almost every brand of knife. I only carry what my distributors sell. I probably have 80% of Gerber. I also don't buy what can only be sold to LE or military. About the only place you will find a full line would be a store that deals mostly or exclusively in knives. There are several on-line stores. Shop for prices. Many knife only stores are grossly over priced.
I carry a cheap winchester folder and a Leatherman Wave for the everyday cutting tasks. My Ka-Bar TDI Law Enforcement is my defensive EDC, and have yet to cut anything with it.

Reason: clarity
Aside from my folder, I just added a new knife to the collection. The KA-BAR/TDI Law Enforcement.
Seems like a good defensive tool not just for weapon retention but also when CC isn't possible. The clip can be moved to either side of the sheath so it can be worn with the sheath behind the belt, right or left hand draw and also blade up or down (reverse grip) in the hand. You could punch with this in your hand and not lose your grip at all. It's faster to present than a folder that's for sure!
Not bad for about $32.00

I just picked up the TDI myself. Seems like a nice backup for the weak side. Trying out some carry positions to see what is most comfortable with a high level of accessibility. This will only be used as a backup as I carry a Spyderco Tenancious w/ combo edge in the strong side pocket, used multiple times daily.
I had a chance to hold a TDI a few times but prefer the feel of the Spyderco Swick series (which I have never required a band-aid for, btw). You can get the S30V Swick 2 for $53 including shipping and there are any number of great kydex guys out there who will make you a great sheath for it.
Just picked up my Delica 4 out of the drawer the other day. I really like it, I have not carried it much but now I think I will be carrying in place of my flash 2 for a while, it sits opposite my trident folder. I may even add another delica or 2. Thinking about the delica with a wave and a plain edge as well.
