    Smith & Wesson FLB knife

I'm not much into knives from a defensive standpoint, but I've always had pocket knives and hunting knives and always carry one. Today, I picked up (used) a S&W Bullseye folding lock blade with clip and studs on the blade to assist in opening. It is a "first production run" designed by Stewart Taylor (whoever that is). It's got a parkerized finish.

I know, "this thread is worthless without pics." I bought it today and a buddy at work took it home with him to put a good edge on it (knife sharpening is his claim to fame).

I've tried to do a little Google research on it, but have come up dry. I know nothing about it beyond what I have described here, except for the fact that I paid $7 for it at my local pawn shop. It seemed to be worth $7 to me. My knife buddy at work was quite impressed and said that the blade was made of quality steel.

Anyone have any thoughts on it? I bought it more for just a pocket knife, not that I needed yet another one, but I couldn't resist for $7. I'll post some pics when I get it back tomorrow.

After my buddy sharpens it, I'll probably end up with a $900 ER bill.
