All I know about it is what's on their web site. I have a Blur and like it very much.

I have four different Kershaw (all assisted openers), and I like them very much. I seldom go anywhere without 1 or 2 of them on my person.

I have a stainless leek and a blue Scallion. Great knives. Don't leave home without one. Don't know about the Junkyard Dog. If it's a Kershaw it should be good.

skip the regular junkyard dog and go for the junkyard dog II. it has g10 scales and feels alot better in the hand. ive had one for a while now and i love it. Although the blade steel could be a little bit better. and just fyi, the junkyard knives are not assisted openers. they are flippers.

I carry a Kershaw, but I don't know what kind it is. I got it from the Snap-On dealer. It's an assisted-open and made of good steel. Sharp as hell.

I carry this Junk Yard Dog with a composite blade. Absolutely scary sharp and rugged. I recommend it highly.

There is the Junk Yard Dog, The Junk Yard Dog II and the Newer JYD II Composite Blade. The JYD is the one you want but it is also the most expensive in the series. $55.00 is a good price.

most expensive? maybe the titanium version, but the regular is much cheaper than the JYD II.
