    SOG Trident Tanto

I personally love the SOG line of knives. I just received my SOG Trident Tanto. It is light (3.6 oz), the blade is 3.75" and the Handle is 4.5".

It has a blade lock, and I can see why. A slight flick on the thumb stud and the blade springs open.

I will be torn between my Pentagon Elite and this one....

This is another view with the tip. Why it is upside down? I don't know.

This is a cell phone pic.

This is my EDC and i can't say enough good things about it! I suggested SOG's to my brother and he now has an Aegis and he really likes it. I love my tanto and the fact that it doesn't have any serration and I've put this knife through hell and back.. If and when i break this knife I will buy another.

I don't plan to keep the safety on. Do you actually use the safety?

I love the weight, the smooth action and the fact that I can cut rope/twine in the closed position.

No I never use the safety but I have had it engage while in my pocket which upsets me. I've been meaning to somehow glue or epoxy the safety so it can never engage in case I need to draw it quickly in a SD situation.

Small drop of the superglue when lock is in the non lock postiong. Nutnfancy on you tube suggested that. I carry a regular trident and other SOGs. Been meaning to check out the tanto in the Trident and the Aegis.
